20 mins late for delivery but what a kebab... please try to improve your delivery times... awsome tasty food though.. well worth a try..

Do Not order frim here!!! Spot the meat!!!! 2 pieces of chicken 2 pieces of shish £9. Rip off but you get lots of salad!!!! One son...... disappointed.... shame I can't share pics!!!!

Good food good staff very friendly and helpful. Evan if your fussy like me. Very busy with deliveries. The might be empty but staff are busy with orders coming through. So sometimes a bit of a wait. Hygiene is 5 star rating.

Their Donner kebab is standard but their home chilli sauce makes the kebab taste Good. Last few Visits Have been disappointing. The Staff Don't have any Customer Service Skills can be rude and the Kids working their don't have a clue what they are doing... The Previous lads use to keep things in check much better... and forgot to mention the price is extortionate. the display price is different to what they charge obviously more

Updated review as is under new management. Disgusting food and a waste, go to the one in Darwen where the old management is.

Absolutely dreadful!!! As we ordered a chicken burger and delivered us a cheeseburger and blankly refused to bring us another!!!! Defiantly not ordering from here again!!!! Terrible

One of the original & best kebab take- aways in Blackburn, used to get my Saturday night kebab after night out when I was in my 20s, and believe me that was a few years ago! Still go now when I fancy a kebab even though there are alot more take-aways now.

Delivered within 20 mins food was nice n hot***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***

The portion size on naan bread is enormous and comes fully loaded with Salad and sauce...Great Job guys and a BIG BIG Thumbs up!

Ordered a kebab it came smelling like a wet dog! Absolutely disgusting the naan it was served in was greasy, barely any chilli sauce on what a waiste of money!

Order from here most weeks. Good food, quick and friendly service. Also the driver who regularly delivers to us brought a christmas card and box of chocolates for New Year. Many thanks.

Waited for over a hour called to check rude person said im lying only been 50mins eventually food arrived stone cold appalling service from guy on phone that's why i never bothered calling up again just ordered from somewhere else who delivered within 30mins i was a regular customer never will i order again

Great food but more importantly the place is very clean

worse kebab ive ever had in Darwen... tons & tons of salad and hardly any meat... then have the cheek to say use the taxis waiting outside to get home.. asked the taxi how much he said £5.00 fare... yeah right jog on ... rung local taxi ..cost £2.50.

I feel giving this 1 star is too much. I have had the experience of ordering twice from no 39. The first time it was 2 hours late and was past eating it. The second time we placed our order on line it said 1 hour. Yes it was. But the food (all 3 kebabs) was stone cold, the garlic bread looked and tasted like it had never been in the oven. If you want to blame the delivery. We live 1 mile from town. How cold can it get driving 1 mile. We asked for plenty of salad on the kebabs. Well if that was plenty I wouldn't like to see a little. All in all it was terrible yet again. To think we had to pay for this is a joke. Never again.

The Joojeh Kebab is AMAZING, never fail to Impress when I order a kebab. Have the right amount of chicken, salad on sauce to make the best kebab.Loveeeeeee it

Rang on 29th August at 11:32PM The worker on the phone was very aggressive and without any manneres refused to take my order as they were shut. I understand if you are closed or closing it’s difficult to prepare an order but you still need to deliver a level of customer service to that customer. It was very off putting and I will be sure not to visit again. Appalling service. How the mighty fall lol

I spent 50 minutes in there, waiting for a pizza they kept promising was coming, awful service, I will never go back and I have been a customer for 34 years.

Place has gone ridiculously downhill. Used to be the best place around and I used to go every week.Shocking portion sizes, and incredibly overpriced Go to oasis across the road for 10 times better

ordered of just eat large dinner kebab £10 all in inc delivery ended up proper gutted standard tray asked driver if that's a large only reply was that's what they have me been here since 90s

Just received my delivery and its stone cold, rang up to hear that the 'main guy' wasn't in and was told to ring back an hour and a half later. Nothing he could do and put the phone down!! Great service 👍🏻

Every Friday I have my takeaway from here and always enjoyed the meal. Have the 39 special burger and never had any lumps of fat or hard bits in them. Only down side is that you need to check your order if you have it delivered as they do get it wrong more times then they should.

Don’t even want to give one star!!!Kebab hardly had any meat on it and didn’t taste of anything and garlic sauce that was on donner meat and chips tasted like old mouldy food!!! So couldnt even eat it Was disgusting will never ever get food from them again! Should be ashamed to serve food like that

Quality of food is good but a bit pricey for a takeaway.

Always order from here for years but after last night never again my partner ordered Donner meat which was dripping in fat , also ordered a vegetarian pizza with chicken and ended up in hospital I've never been so ill in all my life.

The staff were a bit grumpy, the man cookin the chicken did a good job, but the kebab was cold. Iv had better

They may not be the best in customer orders, but compared to the other take aways in Darwen Street, they are one of the best for a tasty kebab

Great food and delivered hot and on time, however they missed some of my order off, I rang them they apologised and sent it straight back out.Good food and will certainly visit again.

Wouldn't deliver on a Friday afternoon even though it says free delivery on menu from 11am. Was a large order of about £60 as well. Went to Oasis across the road who make excellent kebabs.
